Sidoarjo, Kampus Ursulin. Sanmaru, St. Angela Merici was an Italian religious educator and founder of the Ursulines whose deep prayer life and relationship with the Lord bore the fruit of mystical encounters with God. 

Every 27th of January, we celebrate the feast of Saint Angela. Yayasan Paratha Bhakti and their under schools; Santa Maria Surabaya, Santa Maria II- Sidoarjo, and Santo Yusuf- Pacet celebrated the annual gathering of 3 campuses to commemorate the life of Saint Angela. This year's celebration was organized by the Santa Maria II-Sidoarjo. To formally start the celebration, mass has been offered and was headed by the pastoral team, together with the group of altar servers and a multi-talented group of teachers choir hailing from Santa Maria Sidoarjo.

The giving of introduction and inspiring words from St. Angela was given by Sister Windy. As a part of the celebration, each unit from different campuses prepared different types of presentations. From traditional to modern types of presentation were shown. It clearly showcases that the teachers in this institution are very talented in appreciating St. Angela’s guidance throughout the practice of their profession.

Indeed, St. Angela Merici is an inspiration to many people, especially to the teachers wherein we spend our time and dedication to teach the young learners who really need our help. We’re not just teaching them but also we’re nurturing them the best that we can and helping them grow and find their true calling in their life. St. Angela, may you always continue to touch our hearts through your story and dedication to serving the Lord, as we, as teachers embarking our journey and passion for teaching our learners with compassion and love.
